The platform offers a variety of AI models suited for different needs, such as:

• GPT-4-Turbo – A fast, cheap, and efficient version of ChatGPT with strong reasoning and language capabilities.
• GPT-4 – OpenAI’s most advanced model (before Turbo) with high accuracy and deep contextual understanding.
• GPT-3.5 – A capable but lighter model than GPT-4, offering good performance at a lower cost.
• GPT-4o: The most recent iteration, expanding on GPT-4’s capabilities with the ability to process text, audio, images, video, and various file formats.

What stands out to me about ChatGPT is that it lets you build your custom GPT and share it with your team or the world.

The AI platform lets you create a custom AI model that combines custom instructions, extra knowledge, and any combination of skills.

For example, you can create a custom GPT to perform specific tasks for your job or to generate on-brand images.

Deep Research (New)

ChatGPT has recently introduced its deep research functionality which has been designed to automate complex research tasks.

The AI model conducts in-depth ‘’investigations’’ on the Internet by searching, analyzing, and synthesizing hundreds of sources from text, images and PDFs to complete research tasks that would normally take you hours.

The end result is a professional-grade output, as the tool generates reports suitable for finance, consulting, and engineering use cases.

ChatGPT’s Use Cases

ChatGPT finds its use cases for different professionals with its high trainability and advanced AI models, including:

Content Marketers & SEOs

• Generate article content and train a custom GPT to write like you.
• Generate images with DALL-E.

Other reviewers on G2 share the same opinion as me, noting how helpful the platform has been for their organization.

‘’ChatGPT has been the most helpful tool to all of us in our company. Whether it is code generation, simple queries, or data analysis, it’s the best option out there. Sure, DeepSeek is out there, but as of now, ChatGPT is a much more secure option. The reason why I decided to give it an 8, instead of a 9, is because the platform has its bugs.

Sometimes, if you ask the tool a complicated question or prompt it to search for hand-to-find information, ChatGPT will just crash and refuse to give you an answer.

ChatGPT’s Interface: Is It Easy To Use?

ChatGPT provides a blank canvas-like interface where you can message ChatGPT – which reminds me of Google’s simplicity.

All of your previous prompts are positioned on the left side of the screen with a summarized title of what was discussed.

When it comes to ChatGPT’s GPT gallery, it is easy to find and then select the GPT you would like to prompt and then click on ‘’Chat’’.

Rating: 9/10.

ChatGPT provides its users with a clean Google-like interface that makes it easy to get started with the AI platform and its different models.

Users of the platform also appreciate ChatGPT’s ease of use, noting that using the tool feels like texting.

ChatGPT’s Security Measures

ChatGPT provides its Pro and Enterprise users with advanced security measures, including:

• Data ownership and retention control: Your company will be able to retain full ownership of inputs and outputs with admins setting custom data retention periods.
• Military-grade encryption: All data within ChatGPT is encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.2+ in transit, meeting SOC 2 Type 1 compliance.
• Granular access controls, including SAML-based SSO for enterprise authentication, domain verification to restrict access, and role-based permissions for features or data.

➡️ Despite that, some vulnerabilities exist in third-party integrations and custom configurations, including:

• Misconfigured GPTs: Custom GPTs with external API access risk leaking proprietary data or enabling phishing campaigns.
• Memory manipulation attacks: Your workspace can be at risk from ‘’SpAIware’’ injections that turn ChatGPT into persistent spyware, exfiltrating data across sessions.
• Data leaks: The platform can expose personal information or critical company information through responses, potentially using such data for training purposes.

I still remember the Samsung ChatGPT leak from April 2023, where 3 employees of Samsung fed ChatGPT critical business information, such as source code and meeting notes to improve productivity – only to end up risking the company’s intellectual property. 

Rating: 5/10.

Despite ChatGPT’s compliance and security controls, the platform still lacks autonomous threat response and real-time network behavioral analysis to ensure that your data remains safe.

💡 ChatGPT also does not offer the option to host the platform on your premises, similar to what Team-GPT (that’s us) is doing to enhance security measures and ensure data control.

ChatGPT’s Team Collaboration Capabilities

ChatGPT offers collaboration features for companies looking to adopt AI across their organization with its Team and Enterprise plans.

Your organization can access ChatGPT-4 with a 32K context window and get access to AI platforms with a higher message cap like:

• DALL-E 3.
• Vision.
• Browsing.
• Advanced Data Analysis.
• Deep Research.

You can create and share custom GPTs with your team and build a custom version of the platform for business purposes.

Additionally, the platform lets you get access to an admin console for workspace and team management, as well as early access to new features and improvements.

Inside ChatGPT Enterprise, you will also get access to a comprehensive analytics dashboard, group permissions, and access to the tool’s compliance API.

Rating: 6/10.

ChatGPT offers good team collaboration capabilities that will help you to work alongside your team and other departments in your organization.

Despite that, when ChatGPT is compared to Team-GPT’s collaboration features, ChatGPT’s Enterprise solution does not offer:

❌ A library of custom prompts.

❌ Folders and organizational structures.

❌ Unlimited access to GPT-4 and GPT-4 Turbo, unlike Team-GPT.

ChatGPT’s Integrations (Plug-Ins)

ChatGPT’s integrations (plug-ins) are tools designed to expand the LLM’s capabilities by providing access to up-to-date information, integrate third-party services, and run better computations with the platform.

The platform has introduced plug-ins for code execution, image generation, and third-party apps like Zapier and Wolfram Alpha.

The original plug-in system may not be widely available, but the platform lets you access its custom GPTs, where some of them are connected to other productivity platforms.

For example, ChatGPT offers a plug-in with Canva that lets me prompt Canva to create Instagram posts or other creative materials.

Rating: 8/10.

ChatGPT provides a satisfactory amount of plug-ins and integrations with other productivity apps that your team might already be using.

In fact, you’d not have to leave the platform if all of your productivity apps for image generation or data analysis were located in ChatGPT’s custom GPT marketplace.

Customers of the platform also seem to be satisfied with the platform’s integrations.

ChatGPT’s Pricing Model: Does It Provide A Good Value For Money?

ChatGPT offers a free-forever plan for its AI model that lets you get access to its generative AI capabilities.

The freemium version lets you use the tool’s custom GPTs and limited access to data analysis, file uploads, vision, web browsing, and image generation.

If you’re looking for a more advanced AI model, then you’ll be looking at ChatGPT Plus, which costs $20/month and adds:

• Access to OpenAI o1-preview and OpenAI o1-mini.
• Access to GPT-4, GPT-4o, and GPT-4o mini.
• Up to 5x more messages for GPT-4o compared to the free plan.
• Access to DALL-E for image generation, and advanced voice mode.
• The ability to create and publish custom GPTs.

And if you’re looking for unlimited access to ChatGPT’s o1, o1-mini, GPT-4o, and voice, you’d need to be on their Pro plan that costs $200/month and adds:

• Access to o1 pro mode, which uses more computing for the best possible answers to your hardest questions.
• Extended access to Sora video generation.
• Access to the platform’s Operator research preview for US users.

If you’re planning on using ChatGPT in your organization, you’d have to be on the tool’s Team or Enterprise plans.

What Are Customers Saying About ChatGPT?

Throughout this review, I’ve been going over users’ opinions on ChatGPT – but let’s dive deeper.

TL;DR: ChatGPT’s users like the tools’ trainability and comprehensive range of use cases – from coding to content generation – but are not satisfied with the tool’s restrictions and sometimes inaccurate responses.

What users love:

• The platform is good at understanding context and making use of previous prompts.
• Ideal for a variety of business tasks, such as coding and writing.
• The platform can be trained to write and respond like a human.

ChatGPT unlike other search engines has memory and also understands context making use of the previous prompts which makes it a powerful question-answering system. The upgraded versions also allow you to attach images and videos in addition to just text prompts which is very helpful. A good coding companion. Makes everyday tasks faster and easier. – G2 Review.

Whenever I’m facing writer’s block or seem to be short in time to complete multiple tasks, it comes in great help to give me ideas and or help me organize tasks, and even finish emails. – G2 Review.

Common complaints:

• Both the free and paid plans have limited capabilities and restrictions when it comes to data analysis and image generation.
• The data you receive can be outdated, so it’s worth double-checking the information.
• Asking for highly technical information can result in wrong responses.
