Craft abandoned cart email sequences with Team-GPT

Step 1. Set up your Project knowledge
Navigate to your Project in Team-GPT (this could be for your company, a specific campaign, or a client you're working with). Click the "Project knowledge" button to open the sidekick.
Add your essential context:
- Brand guidelines (voice, tone, messaging rules)
- Target audience profiles and customer personas
- Product information and key selling points
- Previous high-performing email examples
- Meeting transcripts from client discussions
This context gets referenced automatically in every chat within the Project, so you only need to set it up once.
The more comprehensive your context, the better your email sequences will be – Team-GPT references everything you include to create more accurate and on-brand content.
Step 2. Build your prompt
Instead of writing prompts from scratch, use Team-GPT's built-in Prompt builder. Click the "Tools" button in the left sidebar to access it.
Describe your task in simple words. For example: "I need to create an abandoned cart email sequence." The Prompt builder will ask follow-up questions to gather more context about your sequence goals, brand voice, and email structure preferences. After that, the tool will generate the perfect prompt for your specific needs.
Save your prompt to the Prompt library and share it with your team for future use. You can find the Prompt library in the sidekick menu or when you type "/" in the chat input field.

Step 3. Generate your email sequence
Run your prompt. Team-GPT will reference all the Project knowledge you added earlier, creating emails that align with your brand guidelines, product details, and customer profiles.
Your team members can also jump into the same chat to review, refine, or adjust the content based on new priorities or feedback.
Step 4. Refine in Pages
Hover over any AI response and click "Turn to Page" at the bottom. This creates an editable document where you can refine your email sequence paragraph by paragraph.
Pages is an AI-first text editor inside Team-GPT that allows you to:
- Click and edit: Make direct changes to any text
- Drag and drop: Easily reorganize your content by moving blocks up or down
- Use AI on individual blocks: Select any paragraph and use options like "make this more urgent," "shorten," or enter custom prompts
Tips for better results
- Specify timing between emails: Tell the AI your preferred email cadence (like 1 hour, 24 hours, 3 days) to get appropriately timed messaging
- Add discount strategy upfront: If you plan to offer incentives in later emails, mention this so the AI can build a logical progression
- Test different urgency levels: Ask for both gentle reminder and urgent scarcity versions to see which approach works better for your audience
